Inspired by its namesake city in northeastern Italy, Vicenza is a corrected grain, aniline leather. The hides required to produce Vicenza originate from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. It receives a special retannage which enriches the leather, tightens the grain, and provides a superior hand. The correction process refines the surface of the leather, preparing the material for the reception of grain enhancement prior to finishing. Vicenza features our breathable protective finish that is impregnated into the leather, becoming an integral part of the material.

Italian for water, Acqua is a durable, water-resistant leather suitable for a wide range of applications. Produced from hides originating in northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland, a combination of a special retannage and finishing process results in leather that is not only water resistant, but also practical for applications that require a durable finish. High quality dyes used for Acqua allow a greater saturation and dye enrichment than ordinary upholstery leathers.

Andes is a natural, chromium tanned, aniline dyed, upholstery leather with a lightly enhanced grain texture. The selection of hides used to produce Andes originates from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. The light enhancement process refines the surface of the leather without penetrating the dermis of the hide. The combination of the lightweight material, refined enhanced grain texture, and special ironing process contribute to its suppleness and smoothness. This enhanced grain leather closely approximates the luxurious hand of Sabrina for price-sensitive projects.

Embossed Tipped is a two-tone leather, produced from a premium selection of raw material originating from northern and southern Germany and Switzerland. Unlike Hand Tipped, the full grain surface is embossed with a pebble grain pattern to provide a consistent, uniform grain texture. The two-tone effect is achieved through the base dye coloration followed by a treatment where the tip of the pebble grain is dyed by hand with a dark overtone. The surface is further enhanced with a light clear coat application followed by a specialized ironing process.

Embossed Tipped is lighter in weight than Hand Tipped. The average thickness ranges between 1.1 mm to 1.3 mm (as opposed to Hand Tipped, which is 1.4 mm to 1.6 mm). This allows for applications where a heavier weight leather may not be suitable.

España is a select chromium tanned, aniline dyed, enhanced grain upholstery leather. The select lower Alpine hides required to produce España are derived from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. The special retannage of España adds to the enrichment of the leather and provides a smooth, tight grain and suppleness of hand which approximates our Sabrina, a favorite of clients seeking a multi-purpose, high performance leather. The recipes used to produce España are essentially the same as those used in the production of Sabrina.

This two-toned leather is clearly in a class by itself. Hand Tipped is crafted from a premium selection of full grain raw material and the pebble grain character is the result of a specific retannage and extended milling process. The premium, select raw material required to produce Hand Tipped originates from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. The two-tone effect is achieved through the base dye coloration and treatment where the tip of the pebble grain is dyed with a dark overtone applied by hand. The surface of the leather is further enhanced with a light clear coat application followed with a specialized ironing process.

Maremma is an aniline dyed, textured suede. The premium select hides required to produce Maremma originate from northern Italy and Switzerland. High quality dyes provide excellent lightfastness and allow a greater saturation and the luxurious surface is complemented by the enriched coloration of two dye baths. The sueded surface is protected by an impregnated, soil resistant treatment which shields the surface without disturbing the suppleness and beauty of this fine leather. Maremma offers a price sensitive alternative to the grain sueded leathers.

The pearlized surface of Alaska creates an iridescence reminiscent of glistening snow. Alaska is produced from the finest and clearest bovine raw material obtained exclusively from the Piedmont and Tuscany regions of northern Italy. These regions provide some of the world’s finest selection of raw material available only in limited quantities. A special retannage completes the enrichment process of the leather, providing a smooth tight grain and suppleness of hand. The final finish application contains finely milled mother of pearl, giving Alaska a deep, rich, luminescent finish not found in other pearlized leathers. Alaska also features a breathable protective finish, which is impregnated into the leather, becoming an integral part of the material.

Antique is a select chromium tanned, aniline dyed, enhanced grain leather. The select lower Alpine hides required to produce Antique are derived from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. The special retannage adds to the enrichment of the leather and provides a smooth, tight grain and suppleness of hand, which approximates España leather. The methods and processes used to produce Antique are essentially the same as those used in the production of España.

Through the use of advanced finishing techniques, the surface of this product is lightly antiqued to produce an elegant patina reminiscent of gracefully aged leather. Antique features a unique breathable protective finish, which is impregnated into the leather, becoming an integral part of the material.
