Pop is the first “infinitely repeatable" modular sofa. Easy to take apart and manufactured industrially, Pop is composed of identical transparent polycarbonate single-seat modules which can be placed side by side to create the sofa's solid frame: backrest, seat (also made of plastic slats) and armrests. Pop shatters preconceived ideas of the rigidity of plastic, offering itself as a comfortable and indestructible industrial upholstered sofa that stands up to shocks and heavy use. The large and soft goose feather cushions are available in a number of fabrics. For those who love imagination and can’t live without a modern and lively touch in their home, Kartell is offering a series of Missoni fabrics: "Vevey" and "Cartagena".

- Piero Lissoni
Born in Italy, Piero Lissoni is a well-known designer and architect with a degree from the Polytechnico of Milan. In 1986 Lissoni founded the Studio Lissoni. Lissoni has worked with design brands such as Boffi, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani and Flos on a wide diversity of designs of furniture and lighting. Lissoni’s projects are often full-scale interiors and architecture of hotels, offices and showrooms, yachts and private homes. He is inspired by many different elements but also designers such as Arne Jacobsen.
Piero Lissoni’s design principle is never to design for a specific function or purpose, but to design for human beings. His designs for Alessi include the very minimal Birillo Collection of objects. In 2004 Knoll introduced Lissoni’s Divina Lounge Collection, originally designed for his longtime client, Living Divina. It features clean lines and exceptional comfort and appears to float in mid-air, with razor-thin legs supporting the chrome-plated steel frame.
