Alessi GIA100S5 Tama Cookware Set
Designed by Giulio Iacchetti and made of recycled aluminum, the Tama set, with its essential but complete range of utensils, aims to cater to all contemporary cooking operations. The designer chooses different colours for the various elements in the set: light blue for the long-handled frying pan, available in two sizes, grey for the two-handled casserole and the wok with tempered glass lid. Domenica kitchen tongs, designed by Elisa Giovannoni, complete the set.

Giulio Iacchetti, industrial designer since 1992, designs for many brands including Abet Laminati, Alessi, Danese, Elica, Foscarini, Globo Ceramiche, Jannelli&Volpi, Hastens, Magis, Meritalia, Moleskine, Pandora design. The distinctive characteristics of his work is the research and definition of new object typologies, like the Moscardino, the biodegradable spoon/fork designed with Matteo Ragni and for which, in 2001, he has been awarded with Compasso d’Oro.
In 2009 he was awarded the prize for innovation – Premio dei Premi – by the President of the Italian Republic for the Coop Eureka project, which brought the design in the large-scale retail trade. In May 2009 the Triennale di Milano held a solo exhibition entitled “Giulio Iacchetti. Disobedient objects “. In November 2012 he launches Internoitaliano, the “factory network” made up of many craftsmen labs with whom he signs and produces furniture and accessories inspired by the italian way of living.
He had also pursued his personal research project into new design topics such as the symbol of cross from which came the exhibition titled Cruciale held by the Diocesan Museum, Basilica di Santo Stefano Rotondo in Rome and by Castello di Lombardia in Enna, Sicily. In 2014, he won his second Compasso d’Oro for the design of the manhole covers Sfera, designed with Matteo Ragni for Montini.
Alessi is known for producing many of the most iconic home accessories and homeware in the world. Founded in 1921, each product elevates the expression and function of household items, from tableware and flatware, kitchen and bathroom accessories to tea kettles and coffee makers, and more.
In collaboration with internationally recognized designers such as Michael Graves, Philippe Starck, and Richard Sapper, Alessi embodies Alberto Alessi’s vision that "A true design work must move people, convey emotions, bring back memories, surprise, and go against common thinking."

- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.

- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
