Christian and Grethe Flensted created the first Flensted mobile to honor their daughter’s birth in 1953. Before, Danish mobiles were seen as a traditional craft. Their inaugural creation, the stork mobile, captured hearts worldwide. Christian Flensted was known as the "Uromager," a Danish term loosely translated as a “maker of mischief,” stemming from his knack for crafting captivating creations in perpetual motion.
