Envelop Desk by Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber for Herman Miller
Envelop, Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber for Herman Miller, photo - hermanmiller.comHerman Miller has introduced a new desk to their all star line up of home office furniture. Envelop is the ergonomic desk. Herman Miller recognized that everything else in a work environment moves around, adjusts, tilts back, etc. and wanted to apply that flexibility to the one static item in the room - the desk.

Jeff Weber, photo - hermanmiller.comEnvelop has an "infield" section of desk surface that moves forward 7 inches and also pivots down 7 degrees to accommodate the user's wrist and hand position as he/she leans backwards. The "infield" is soft and flexible allowing the user's arms to bend the surface as need be for complete comfort and unhindered access.
Measuring only 30 x 45" (37 x 45" when expanded), this desk fits into any office or life/work space. It is clean and trim in design with open legs that are adjustable in height and can be ordered with either glides or locking casters. This is versatility at its best. This desk could stream breakfast television in the kitchen before work, be wheeled into the living room after dinner for a movie, and stowed away back into the office for some late night paperwork.
