Harry Bertoia was a designer but also an artist. His work included architectural installations, public art that transforms into sound art with wind power, sculpture, painting and one line of furniture for Knoll that placed him among the most influential furniture designers of the 20th century.

Like much of mid-century design, the Diamond Chair is constructed of humble industrial material. Metal rods comprise the frame which is beautifully exposed with both upholstery options - seat pad or full cover. The frame is available in polished chrome, black or white with a variety of fabric options in brights and neutrals. Even your child's room can adorn a miniature diamond chair - a size introduced just for kids. Two other sizes, regular and large, provide an option for every space.
