The Menu On the Edge Light is designed by those very creative Danes at NoiDoi, a design studio founded by Kathrine Lønstad and Cosmin Cioroiu. Made of light grey ceramic, the On the Edge Light can be hung as a pendant, placed on a table or the floor, giving this new light true multifunctionality.
The Menu Stone Table Light, designed by Norm Architects, based in Copenhagen, creates a soft candle-like light which could be placed in every corner of the home in order to create a cozy atmosphere. With its innovative combination of grey smoke-tinted glass shade on a ceramic base, the Stone Table Light reflects strong Danish traditions.
Also from Menu, is the Menu Tied Pendant Lamp, designed by Wrk-Shp in the USA. The concrete pendant light consists of a cast concrete cylinder and a fabric-covered power cord. The mix of the materials looks fabulous. The power cord is sufficiently long to plug into a wall outlet, hook and swing down from the ceiling. The Radiohus Lamp makes a comeback! Vilhelm Lauritzen’s original VL38 Table Lamp that was used in Radiohuset’s Stockholm radio studios, is relaunched. A floor and a wall lamp now accompany the elegant table lamp. It is the original design, where the lamp head is organically shaped, painted white and obliquely angled, and with arms made of brass. VL38 has been updated with energy efficient LED light sources.
The Louis Poulsen NJP Table Lamp is a reinterpretation of the classic architect lamp in a minimalistic, flexible design. Designed by Oki Sato from the Japanese studio Nendo, the fixture provides direct glare-free light while reflecting some of the light through the rear of the head, illuminating the top of the arm. The ergonomic design of the fixture head gives optimal light direction. A simple mechanical system provides great freedom of movement, so the light can always be set in the ideal position in the workspace.
