New to our Gabriel Ross Showroom in Victoria, BC, Thayer Coggin Furniture is celebrating 60 years of custom, made-to-order furniture. With a definite nod to mid-century modern, Thayer Coggin is one of the most celebrated names in luxury home furnishings. They proudly handcraft all pieces in their workshops in High Point, North Carolina.

Entering into business in 1953, Thayer Coggin carved out a unique identity in the home furnishings market through a commitment to modern, classic design. Through founder Thayer Coggin's vision and Distinguished Design Award honoree Milo Baughman's creations, Thayer Coggin has amassed a collection of some of the most recognizable furniture designs in the world.
Thayer Coggin selects their upholstery from hundreds of in-house fabrics and leathers, and they also accept client supplied fabrics. They also use the highest quality of cushioning available, and all foams are environmentally safe.
The mid-century era was one of great change and unbridled spirit. From this regeneration of energy and excitement came Milo Baughman (1923 - 2003) who challenged himself to create original modern furniture that would appeal to the post-war developments in modern design, architecture and urban development.

Each model is crafted to the original dimensions and bench-made by their own very experienced furniture makers in the same workshops they have occupied since 1960.
