Janell: These lovely Mater Bowl Tables strike a perfect balance between contemporary-modern and rustic-industrial chic. I specifically love the delicate strength and tapered shape of the steel legs and the fact that the bowls themselves are comprised of abundant, sustainably harvested mango tree wood. I hope I have been good - I know I have been if I receive one of these!
The Mater Bowl Table series, designed by Ayush Kasliwal/ IND, is made of sustainably harvested natural mango wood with steel legs and is available in 4 sizes and 3 stains: natural, black and sirka grey.
Lawrie: The Herman Miller Noguchi Table for sure! Why? Because it is graceful, organic, sleek and I want one for my home, the walnut base, please! Noguchi felt this table, with its simple elements consisting of one piece of free form glass and two perfectly and delicately balanced pieces of wood, was one of his best achievements. Imitated? Yes. Equaled? Never. Is it art, or is it furniture?
The Herman Miller Noguchi Table, designed in 1948 by Isamu Noguchi, is available in 4 finishes: black, walnut, natural cherry and white ash. Noguchi's signature appears on the edge of the glass top. How cool is that?
