The holiday season is here again and the design savvy staff at GRShop and Gabriel Ross are happy to share their wish lists with you. ROSS: If the Stelton knives were the worst cutting knives in the world, I would still have one framed on the wall for its beauty and simple aesthetic. The fact that they are actually amazing to use is just a bonus. If you had to choose three knives to hit all the marks it would be the Chefs Knife, the Utensil Knife and the Bread Knife. Lucky for me (and you) Stelton created a three piece set that includes all three of these.
This Stelton Pure Black Knife Set, which consists of a large chef’s knife, bread knife and utility knife, gives you three of the most important knives in the kitchen. As with the rest of the Stelton knife range, the transition from handle to knife blade is fluid, because the knives are made from a single piece of stainless chromium steel. The matt black finish provides a good grip and makes the knives easy to clean.
DAN: I like these super-functional candle holders inspired by great British engineering. Creating a sense of the tooled and the machined, the Tom Dixon Cog Candle Holder is formed in brass plated solid aluminum.

VANESSA: I love the new Ruutu vases from Iittala because unlike typical round or square vases, the blown glass Ruutu is a more geometric shape, almost resembling a diamond. I love the variety of well-chosen colours and heights allowing you to create a dramatic grouping whether on a shelf, low table or as a centerpiece.
Each Iittala Ruutu Vase is unique - mouth-blown into a steel mould and polished by hand, the designer's name is engraved on the bottom of the vase. The collection consists of a variety shapes and intensive colours.
CHRISTINE: I love this fun twist on the classic Alessi Michael Graves Kettle. To mark the 30th anniversary of this famous kettle, Graves redesigned the whistle turning the little bird into a charming supernatural reptile, a prehistoric, mythological and futuristic creature, introducing the Tea Rex.
The Alessi Tea Rex Kettle is available with a black or blue handle and a choice of two whistles: copper metallic finish or light green.
