Explore Tom Dixon’s Material World - 15% off October 1 - 15, 2014

"Everything is really about materials in their absolute simplicity. If possible, everything we make is informed by an absolute love of materials: cast-iron for its weight, copper for its warmth, etc. One common thread running through is materiality. This is our recipe." – Tom Dixon
Known for his use of honest and resilient materials, including copper, brass, marble, glass, cast iron and wood, Tom Dixon’s products are made to be used, played with, treasured or even better - given to your most favourite people. Tom Dixon rose to prominence in the mid 1980’s as ‘the talented untrained designer with a line in welded salvage furniture.’

Wanting to revive and celebrate British design and manufacturing, Tom Dixon launched his own brand in 2002. It is known the world over for innovative lighting, furniture, gifts and accessories.
The Copper Lighting Series - Launched in 2005, the copper lighting line has become a design staple. Both extravagant and beautiful, the Copper Shade uses a process called metallic vaporization, which achieves a perfect reflective surface on the shade’s exterior. The mirrored surface means these shades are extremely versatile, reflecting the environment in which they are placed. Equally striking as a single pendant or hung as a cluster, these amazing copper lights have become international best sellers.

The Wingback Series, 2007 - A grouping of upholstered furniture inspired by the 18th century British gentleman’s chair. Traditionally manufactured, the Wingback Series is an iconic feature of the Tom Dixon furniture collection. It is available as a chair, a sofa, and a footstool.

The Screw Table Series – The Screw Table, 2008 - The cast iron tripod base and white marble top are inspired by the materials and processes employed during the Industrial Revolution. The thread allows for multiple heights by simply spinning the top.

Gifts and Accessories: A range of gifts and accessories, treasures and curiosities was launched in 2012, widening Tom Dixon’s appeal to new customers and giving everyone new products to explore, from scented candles to watches to die-cut book marks. The Eclectic Series of objects include solid oak chopping boards, copper champagne buckets, cast aluminum money boxes in the shape of an old factory and a classic man's shoe to be used a door stopper. So much fun!
