Gabriel Ross is thrilled to be the first and only Canadian firm representing British designer, Steuart Padwick. Padwick's first collection debuted in the UK in 2009 and was quickly picked up by high end retailers such as The Conran Shop, Heals and Liberty. Launching in North America this year, grshop.com is the place to find Padwick designs online in Canada and we have a showroom order on the way for the viewing pleasure of those local or visiting Victoria BC.

The award winning Darcey Oval Table illustrates Padwick's primary interest in furniture legs and bases - often considered secondary by designers. Darcey measures approximately 84" x 41", making a perfect dining surface with plenty of leg room due to the base posture. Manufactured in Canada by Speke Klein, Padwickk has this to say regarding the partnership: "I want to produce more of my work closer to where it is sold – it makes sense for the business and it makes sense for the environment."

Lighting by Steuart Padwick is fittingly named "Sticks". Composed primarily of wood, the tabletop and floor lamp have counterbalanced arms to perfectly position the lamp head - available in black and cream finishes. Padwick's Sticks Floor Lamp was featured in Garden and Homes Magazines in 2010 as part of a shortlist of floor lamps coined "Smart and functional designs guaranteed to light up a room in style"
