Her work with Sezgin Aksu is influenced by their different cultural and educational backgrounds and is mainly focused on exhibition, furniture and graphic design

Together, Silvia and Sezgin have earned many awards for their work, such as the Red Dot Design Award in 2007, the Design Turkey in 2008, and Good Design USA in 2008
