With its strident primary color palette and engaging, angular Anglepoise® form, Edition Three evokes the visual vocabulary of Dutch painter Mondrian’s De Stijl style of art and launches to coincide with the run up to next year’s De Stijl centennial.

Kenneth Grange
Design Director of Anglepoise since 2003, Sir Kenneth Grange began his illustrious career as a technical illustrator whilst in National Service. He subsequently made his reputation as an industrial product designer and in association with four partners founded Pentagram, now an international design practice with offices in USA, Germany and London. Grange’s remarkable work spans half a century and his user-centered, often quintessentially British designs have helped shape the parameters of everyday life for so many. Not only everyday household brands like Kenwood, Parker, Kodak - and of course Anglepoise - have received the Kenneth Grange treatment but also the InterCity 125 train, the regional Royal Mail postbox and the latest London BlackTaxi.

Anglepoise created the kinetic desk lamp. A British automotive engineer invented the spring mechanism and noticed its potential for elevating the desk lamp. Over the years, Anglepoise has modernized and expanded the line to include desk, table, floor, wall, ceiling, and oversized lamps that all feature the quintessential balanced arm mechanism.
As an icon, the original Anglepoise is found in design museums and exhibitions, and is a sought-after British design piece. Anglepoise creates on its own or in collaboration, but their approach to simplicity, form, function, and light remains true.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
