Solid Acacia wood tables. Heavy yet light, mobile yet stationary. Perfect perch for laptops, cocktails, art books, flowers, feet and of course bowls of Cheetos.
The Turn Tall Side Table is made from solid wood. This means that it may react dynamically to its environment and swell and crack with changes in humidity and temperature.
We make some of our rug designs in India but most of our furniture designs are made in the US and Europe. While traveling in India, we fell in love with their native wood species of Acacia for its warmth and earthiness. Turn is just about the combination of a beautiful material with one manufacturing method – turning something on a wood lathe. That’s it. Interesting shapes made from gorgeous chunks of solid Acacia.

Blu Dot was founded in 1997 by designers John Christakos, Maurice Blanks, and Charlie Lazor. These two architects and one sculptor reunited after college, bonded by their mutual passion for creating beautiful modern lighting, interior and exterior furniture, storage, and accessories that are affordable and built to last. The business supports their “design habit” and desire to maintain control of the entire process, from product development to customer experience, in an attitude-free environment.
Everything BluDot makes and sells is designed in their Minneapolis studio. The goal has always been total collaboration, from design to materials, machines, packaging, and assembly. Their process includes seeking out and solving simple design problems. From there, a design brief is compiled to review the idea with the entire team so everyone is on board.

- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
