Flos Spun Light Floor Lamp
Designed by Sebastian Wrong in 2003, the Spun Light floor lamp reflects the best of modern manufacturing technology combined with elegance, craftsmanship, and dynamic fluid aesthetics.
Its main body has a spun metal frame and diffuser. The diffuser support arms and lamp-holder support are die-cast aluminum, and the diffuser supports are white, injection-molded PC (polycarbonate). The dimmer has a 0-100% luminosity adjustment on the polarized cord.
Emitting a gorgeous diffused light, the Spun Light floor lamp is part of the Spun Light family.

Sebastian Wrong
England, 1971
Sebastian Wrong was born in 1971 in London and he studied BA Hons in Fine Art (sculpture) Norwich School of Art and Camberwell School of Art, graduating in 1993.
His education has been in the field of three dimensional art, and his design practice has developed in parallel work with fine art. His interests are in material manipulation, purity of form, function and honesty. The design work cultivates from the balance between function, aesthetics and refinement.
Drove Ltd was formed in September 2001 and the Spun Light is the first product to have been made. It was launched in 2001 at 100% Design in London and 2002 at the Salone Satellite in Milan. The light was short listed for the Peugeot design award in 2001. Drove Ltd is launching a new product at the Salone Satellite show in April 2003.
Founded in Merano in 1962, Flos is internationally recognized as a high-end modern designer lighting and lighting systems manufacturer for private residential and commercial sectors. They strive to amplify and increase creative lighting solutions. Later collaborations include Achille Castiglioni in the 80s, which established FLO within the industry with the Brera Series.
Flos creations have won numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro Industrial Design Award five times. Many now feature in permanent collections of major art and design museums worldwide. Commissions include Venice's Palazzo Grassi and the City of Amsterdam archives. With a versatile catalog, long-standing reputation, and rich design history, Flos products are an excellent addition to any space.
