Table playing on the tension between a very thin worktop and the solidity of the legs-a contrast accentuated by the table top's being slightly raised from the frame, giving it a light, modern feel. A versatile piece suitable for both office and home use, Apta can be extended where required without altering its proportions. Top in HPL Fenix® 10 mm, wood or covered with concrete 16 mm.

Romano Marcato
Italy, 1951
Romano Marcato was born in Padua, Italy in 1951. He graduated from Padua's High Technical Institute in 1970 in the feild of industrial mechanics. From 1970 – 1978 he was in charge of designing precision tools and machines for the car industry, electronics and home appliances. In 1979, along with his brother, he founded Lapalma and began designing products for the home.
He remains the head of the technical department and has designed a series of popular chairs and tables.
Born and bred in Cadoneghe, Italy, Lapalma founders Dario and Romano Marcato began crafting furniture in a humble garage more than forty years ago. The brand has evolved to serve 81 countries from its eco-friendly headquarters. Their streamlined, elegant chairs, tables, and stools showcase their passion for technology and natural materials like wood, leather, metal, wicker, and glass.

Any applicable shipping fees will be calculated at checkout. Please also note the following:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
