Lady Costanza, the latest evolution of a thriving project, allows the warm light of the shade to be positioned over a dining table or in the centre of a conversation area. The extraordinary lightness of the structure and the handle that characterizes the base make it ever so easy to move the lamp around the room freely, true to the founding concepts of this project: movement, flexibility, relations. The telescopic height regulation and the possibility to rotate it 360 Degrees on its base give this source of light an elegantly functional flexibility, always perfectly suited to whatever space it occupies.

Paolo Rizzatto
Italy, 1941
Paolo Rizzatto was born in 1941 in Milan, Italy, where he studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. In 1968 he opened his own studio and worked on lighting, architectural and interior design projects. In 1978 he founded Luceplan together with Riccardo Sarfatti. With the 265 Lamp collection, Rizzato’s work was recognized internationally.
This collection would be followed by the Berenice Table Lamps and the Titania Hanging Lamps, which are reminiscent of floating submarines (both created in collaboration with Alberto Meda and produced by Luceplan). The Costanza series of lighting represents his work at its best, ethereal and uncluttered.
Over the years Rizzatto has received many important national and international awards for design, including three Compasso d’oro Awards, 1981, 1989 and 1994. His creations are part of the permanent collections of museums such as the Wave Hill Museum Centre for Environmental Studies, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.

This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
