Vitra Arik Levy Toolbox RE
Toolbox is a practical organizer for storing and transporting small working utensils and accessories. The version Toolbox RE is made of recycled plastic – and at the end of its product lifespan, it is also 100% recyclable.
The high-quality recycling material stems from recycled household waste, particularly used packaging. The dark grey hue of Toolbox RE is the natural shade of the processed recycling material, which therefore exhibits very slight irregularities in colour.

Arik Levy
Israel, 1963
“Design is an uncontrolled muscle.” - Arik Levy
Born in Israel, Arik Levy moved to Europe in 1988. Following studies at the Art Center Europe in Switzerland where he gained a distinction in Industrial Design in 1991, Levy’s first international success was winning the Seiko Epson Inc. competition, which jettisoned him into the public consciousness as a “thinking” designer. He currently works in Paris with his 20-strong team of designers and graphic artists that make up L design.
Under the vision of Levy and his associate, Pippo Lionni, the firm also produces brand identities, packaging, signage, exhibition and interior design. Respected for his furniture and light designs for Vitra and Vibia, Levy also creates hi-tech clothing lines and accessories for firms in the Far East.

Vitra is a Swiss company dedicated to improving the quality of homes, offices, and interior public spaces through the compelling power of design. Their chairs, tables, and accessories, including clocks, toolboxes, and cushions, are developed with an intensive, modern design process. Fusing engineering excellence with the creative genius of leading-edge international designers, Vitra enhances the aesthetic and emotional aspects of every space they grace.
All Vitra products are functional, inspiring, and durable. Founded in 1950, the family-owned Vitra line is designed and created by internationally recognized contemporary designers such as Verner Panton, Isamu Noguchi, Eero Saarinen, and Jasper Morrison. “We make products that avoid the superfluous and last for a very long time,” says Vitra chairman Rolf Fehlbaum.
